We have been made aware of third parties impersonating Tegrit using domains that do not belong to Tegrit.
We are currently aware of impersonation via the following domains:
- tegritcareers.com
- tegrit-careers.com
- incentiviocareers.com
Tegrit does not own these domains and will only send email from @tegrit.com email addresses.
Legitimate Tegrit job postings can be viewed via our careers page at https://www.tegrit.com/careers/.
To protect others and help put a stop to these scams, please see below:
Report the Activity to Google
- Based on information we’ve received, the actor sending these emails is using Google Workspace. Abuse reports can be submitted to Google here: https://support.google.com/mail/contact/abuse
Report the Activity to the Domain’s Registrar
- Obtain the headers from the phishing email you received. If you aren’t sure how to do this, MXToolBox (not affiliated with Tegrit), has instructions for popular email services and clients available here.
- Submit an abuse report to the domain’s registrar. At this time the registrar is Hostinger, you can report phishing to them here: https://www.hostinger.com/report-abuse
- In the comments, let the registrar know that this domain is impersonating Tegrit and attempting to steal personal information and/or money via fake job offers. Be sure to include the email headers you obtained in step 1 above (be sure to remove any sensitive information such as SSNs, addresses, banking info, etc., if present)
